According to an article from 'The Times of India', the movie which has been such a success in the U.S. will soon be remade in Bollywood. The article stated that producer Firoz Nadiadwala has purchased rights for 'The Hangover' to make it in India. And the cast that will be directed by Anees Bazmee may include some big names.
One source says that "Firozbhai loved the script and the film and immediately got into the process of acquiring the Hindi rights of the film. In fact, he has also been casting for the film on the sly. The film will start early next year." Sources say that Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif will be starring in the movie along with Paresh Rawal and Ritesh Deshmukh. It seems as if the remake is already in the works. Sources also say that Anees Bazmee has confirmed the news by saying "It's true. I am shooting in South Africa and Sanjay Dutt and I have been discussing the film. I loved the film and Sanjay is very eager to do it too. Even Ritesh Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan have been finalized. I am shooting 'No Problem' in Durban, once I am free of that, I will start scripting the film."

Confirming the news, Balki said, “One day during the shooting of Cheeni Kum, when I was discussing scenes with Amitji, Abhishek walked in. That’s when I saw Abhishek, who’s known as the brat, having a serious conversation with his father. In fact, at that moment, he came across as the more mature of the two. And I thought why not explore their relationship in that light? That’s how the role reversal happened.”

Saif was robbed of his expensive pair of Dolce & Gabanna glares while Imtiaz Ali lost his wallet that contained his credit cards and driving license.
